i have been listening to so much bowie lately. so much. it is just putting me into the best mood and making me want to change the strings on my guitar and maybe actually play it for the first time in over a year. do i even remember how?

work today was not as difficult as i had anticipated. i mean, i was 15 minutes late but i am supposed to be there at 730 and we open at 8 and how long does it take to brew three pots of coffee and plate a hundred croissants, anyway?

i drank too much coffee today and now i feel all queasy. i used to be able to drink like 6 cups of coffee a days and be fine but now i can barely make it through two. what's happening to me?
